Completing FACTS On-Line --Helpful Hints:  The Catholic Education Foundation of the Diocese of Joliet uses a third party company, FACTS, in order to objectively evaluate the need for financial aid.

The web site for the FACTS Grant and Aid Company is https://online.factsmgt.com/aid. The application must be completed ON-LINE and is available in English or Spanish.  There is a required $30 application fee per family payable DIRECTLY TO the FACTS Grant & Aid Company.

Questions on completing the FACTS Grant and Aid application may be answered by calling the FACTS helpline directly at 1-866-441-4637.

It is important to note that families will not be considered for financial aid until their application is verified by the FACTS Company.  In order to verify the income information a family submits, FACTS will require copies of financial documents including Federal Income Tax forms and W-2s (PREVIOUS YEAR Tax Returns ARE ACCEPTABLE if your 2016 forms are not yet completed).  All supporting documents should be submitted no later than March 1.  Families should work directly with the FACTS company in order to verify all information in a timely fashion in order to be considered for financial aid. Submitting an application does not mean that the application has been verified.

If you have questions, contact Joe Langenderfer Catholic Education Foundation at 815/221-6127 or jlangenderfer@dioceseofjoliet.org

SCHOLARSHIPS and GRANTS

The Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) distributes more than 1,600 need-based scholarships each year. Eligible families with students K-12 are encouraged to apply for financial assistance to help cover the cost of tuition. These tuition assistance grants are determined on an annual basis and families must apply each year in order to be considered.  In 2016-17, the CEF distributed $2,002,600 to 1,682 students in our Catholic elementary and high schools.
